NeuroART
NeuroART is a SENC initiative designed to publicise and disseminate the activities of neuroscientists through art. The most varied technical advances in the capture and representation of images and signals of the nervous system allow us to illustrate neuroscientific progress. The universe of art made up by the images obtained of the cellular components of the nervous system and its activity has been used both by scientists and by artists. Therefore, NeuroART aims to bring the art of the nervous system to a wider public through the artistic inspiration of neuroscientists, by means of three actions:
- Calling the NeuroART Competition (call, rules, winners,…).
- Publicising the front covers of Scientific Journals (galleries of front covers).
- Creating a portfolio of artistic-scientific works which make up the NeuroART Gallery.
