The EMBO Workshop “Astrocytes: from molecules to systems” will take place from 12 to 16 April 2027 in Porto, Portugal.
This international meeting will bring together researchers to discuss the latest advances in astrocyte biology and their roles in brain function, from cellular mechanisms and interactions with neurons to their contribution to neural circuits and potential therapeutic applications.
The programme will include scientific talks, oral communications, flash talks and poster sessions, providing an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and collaboration, particularly for early-career researchers.
The deadline for abstract submission and registration is 2 November 2026.
